Deep Dream and GIF Creator

as if I had nothing else to do - I was surfing the net and found these sites where you can create great stuff with your photos. Deep Dream I had used before, when it was in beta, but now you have to sign up/sign in. It is free, and there are many more effects since last time I used the site - this I just created today:

Making animated GIF images is a little complicated in Photoshop, so when I was looking for a tutorial, I found this website where it is easy to create animated GIF: all you have to do is upload your images, select the parameters and voila, done! This one below is also my first test, using images I had on hand (some of which were photo-shopped, some previously created in Deep Dream).

Mystery has been banished; everything must be defined. And yet, while analytical thought bestows many gifts upon civilization, we remain insatiable. As if the unknown, itself, is the very ferment of community, humility, love....and life.

Embracing mystery as a source of inspiration, Fantastic Realists from around the world present this exhibition of numinous, visionary art - to reawaken feeling and intuition marginalized in today's cynical analyses.

Like the mystical traditions of countless cultures, their works assign symbols to The Unknowable, reaching through the ephemeral illusion we have come to know as reality, to an underlying, timeless, spiritual narrative. Universal mythology is interpreted with vivid imagination, and masterful technique renders it believably real.

Beneath the veil of seeming, an intuitive, visual language suggests that we are all part of something glorious, yet unrevealed. Fulfillment reflects from mystery in the primordial image, encouraging us to find, within ourselves, a unique understanding beyond the grasp of intellect...a feeling of connection...our own personal harmony with an ancient melody that is often unheard amidst the dissonance of perpetual immediacy.

As you might be aware, I have a residence and studio in Canada, and also in Vienna, Austria. On my last trip to Canada, I took some of my work from there to bring to Austria. This is not a complete list, and there are quite a few works left in Canada.

Изложба слика „Антилогика слике“ и промоција истоимене књиге (збирке приповедака) идејног творца сликара Славка Крунића, одржаће се у понедељак, 9. фебруара од 19 часова у Ликовном салону Културног центра Новог Сада.

The Exhibition "Antilogika Image" and the promotion of the book (collection of short stories) curated by painter Slavko Krunić, will be held on Monday, February 9th at 19:00 hr in the Art Salon of the Cultural Center of Novi Sad.

„Антилогика слике“- интеракција визуелног и писаног

Окосница прича у књизи су слике, али сагледане кроз хумор, иронију, гротеску, апсурд… Ово занимљива комбинација подразумева интеракцију слике и текста, па су стога разни писци позвани да напишу кратке приче „према мотивима“ слике неког од предвиђених уметника. По одабиру Крунића састављена је листа од 15 сликара, а по предлогу Мирјане Огњановић, направљена је листа писаца.

Након новосадског представљања слика и књиге, планиране су изложбе и промоције збирке приповедака у другим градовима Србије, као и у Словенији, Бугарској, Црној Гори и Италији.

- „Антилогика слике“ има сасвим посебан положај међу књигама. Она се данас јавља у нарочитој форми пинакобиблиотеке, тј. збирке коју сачињавају сликарска и прозна дела. Збирка обухвата, поред осталог, и врхунске домете цивилизације: сатиру, гротеску, иронију и апсурд, који су посредством једног „породичног споразума“ склопљеног са новим сувереном из династије Хум-ор, послужили за испитивање бескрајних веза ликовних и књижевних искустава – рекао је Славко Крунић.

The backbone of the story in the book are pictures, but perceived through humor, irony, grotesque, absurd ... This interesting combination of the interaction of image and text, and therefore various writers were invited to write a short story, "according to themes" pictures of some of the most anticipated artists. By choosing Krunić composed a list of 15 artists, a proposal by Mirjana Ognjanović developed a list of writers.

After presenting the Novi Sad pictures and books are planned exhibitions and promotions collection of short stories in other cities of Serbia, as well as in Slovenia, Bulgaria, Montenegro and Italy.

- "Antilogika image" has a very special position among the books. It is now common in the particular form pinakobiblioteke, ie. collection consisting of paintings and prose. The collection includes, among other things, the top reaches of civilization: the satire, the grotesque, irony and absurdity, which means a "family agreement" concluded with the new sovereign dynasty Hum-or, were used for testing the endless connection of art and literary experience - said Slavko Krunić.
