I had blogged a couple of times about Caroline Schell - since first I met her, I found her to be a fascinating, and I must admit, a very charming person. Everyone that meets her is instantly smitten (ast least I was). We've been friends now for a while, meeting infrequently whenever she comes to Vienna from Paris, and then it is not always easy to find some time, since when she does come, it is usually on business, such as exhibitions or performances. Extremely versatile, a Paintress, Sculptress, Performing Artist, she recently performed Sandpainting at the Cafe Ministerium in Vienna , while just last Fall, her 30th Birthday Party and Exhibition in Vienna was the talk of the town. Here is a recent article about her in the Swiss publication BLICK: "Sie macht sich selber einen Namen". You will also find some great pictures of her on that site. On a more personal note, a recent picture of Caroline and myself at the Vernissage of our mutual friend Lena Brauer. I tried to talk her into getting a website, but she says she is 'not ready yet' .... pity! UPDATE: Caroline had finally opened a great website - I blogged about it here www.artofthemystic.com/blog/caroline-schell-website check out the category CAROLINE SCHELL for ongoing news and new posts
Impressive performance - I saved some of Esta's work on my YT playlists, but this one appears special enough to put in my blog...... Live in Odeon. Vienna. Austria. 2011
The "Strings and Stories of a Troubadour" concert became the closing of 10 years travelling around the world. Since then the music has changed flowing into what is known today as "Internal Flight". This song is still performed live, yet as an ever expanding improvisation. http://estastonne.bandcamp.com https://www.facebook.com/estastonnemu... http://www.EstasTonne.com the discussions that followed after I posted this on my personal page were interesting - unfortunately, the embed above does not show these comments.
This is the link to the post - it should have all the comments on it: https://www.facebook.com/otto.rapp/posts/10151932433127470 Scientists Claim That Quantum Theory Proves Consciousness Moves To Another Universe At DeathÂ13/4/2014 A book titled “Biocentrism: How Life and Consciousness Are the Keys to Understanding the Nature of the Universe“ has stirred up the Internet, because it contained a notion that life does not end when the body dies, and it can last forever. The author of this publication, scientist Dr. Robert Lanza who was voted the 3rd most important scientist alive by the NY Times, has no doubts that this is possible. - See more at: http://xposethereal.com/scientists-claim-that-quantum-theory-proves-consciousness-moves-to-another-universe-at-death.html Every now and then, a simple yet radical idea shakes the very foundations of knowledge. The startling discovery that the world was not flat challenged and ultimately changed the way people perceived themselves and their relationships with the world. “If the earth were really round,” it was argued, “Then the people at the bottom would fall off.” For most humans of the 15th century, the notion of Earth as ball of rock was nonsense. The whole of Western natural philosophy is undergoing a sea change again, forced upon us by the experimental findings of quantum theory. At the same time, these findings have increased our doubt and uncertainty about traditional physical explanations of the universe’s genesis and structure.
Biocentrism completes this shift in worldview, turning the planet upside down again with the revolutionary view that life creates the universe instead of the other way around. In this new paradigm, life is not just an accidental byproduct of the laws of physics. Einladung |
