WINGNUTS AND CONSPIRACY THEORIES IN THE TIMES OF CORONA VIRUS
There is a fine, and oftentimes rather blurry line between true spirituality and batshit-crazy lunacy.
Some people I know live in another universe where the law of gravity is optional (or so they think) floating above all common sense in a state of blissful rapture.
I had largely ignored this for the most part, but now it seems in the current corona virus crisis the crazies by far outnumber the serious contributions, comments and postings about the subject on social media.
As seen variously on Reddit and Facebook. Original author unknown.
Don’t take medical advice from other people’s handmade signs. (duh!) ▼

Social media conspiracies blame coronavirus on 5G internet
Conspiracy theorists are infecting YouTube and Facebook with bogus theories that 5G mobile internet is responsible for the coronavirus.
One prominent anti-5G Facebook group has shared a number of erroneous posts, claiming 5G is the culprit behind a virus that has infected more than 80,000 people worldwide. Facebook has removed one anti-5G group in which users were being encouraged to supply footage of them destroying mobile phone equipment, with some contributors seemingly under the pretence that it may stop the spread of coronavirus and some running leaderboards of where equipment had been targeted. .............................READ MORE *Note: for clarity, I added a link to an article about Amanda Holden in case some do not know about her.
ADDENDUM:
And just as I added the above, a couple of messages appeared on Facebook, with this link:
